Finally, it offers instructions on how to effectively review and interpret the exported CSV file, helping you to make the most of the exported data and utilize it efficiently for your purposes.
Export results
To review and export results, click on a single file upload from the Bulk Search tab.
Before you export: Bulk Search exports are page-based. The export includes only the subjects shown on the current results page after your filters are applied. It does not export every subject in the job unless all matching subjects are visible on that page.
Filter results, then select Export page
- Start with the status tabs, and confirm you are on the page you want to download.
- Use the Filter Subjects search field, to narrow the results to the subjects you want included.
- Set Results Per Page to the number of subjects you want to include in the export, up to 200.
- Confirm the displayed export scope, then select Export page.
Export scope matters: Changing filters, switching status tabs, or moving to another page changes what is exported. If you need a complete record for a large job, export each page separately and keep the files together.
A confirmation page displays the number of subjects that will be exported from your current page view. Select Export CSV to begin the download.
Tips for clean exports
- Apply filters before exporting so the CSV reflects the exact group you want to share or archive.
- Use the maximum page size when you want fewer CSV files for a large job.
- Use consistent filters across pages if you plan to combine multiple CSV files later.
- Rename exported files with the job name, status tab, page number, and date to make them easier to track.
What the CSV includes
The exported CSV contains one row per result record. The exact columns can vary by job and configuration, but exports generally include subject details, match information, status, failure reason when applicable, and review-related fields.
- Subjects with matches can appear on multiple rows when more than one match is returned.
- Clear subjects receive an all-clear row so you can confirm they were searched successfully.
- Failed subjects receive a row with the failure reason so you can identify records that may need to be retried or investigated.
- Match strength and review information are included where available.
