Organizations can track, document, and resolve alerts directly within the platform.
Watch this 2 minute video on how to review Monitor Alerts.
When you have new alerts, begin by logging in to ProviderTrust.
From your Dashboard under Alerts Overview, your dashboard will display the number of all alerts in Needs Review or Under Review status, as well as a count by alert type based on your monitoring services.
To review your alerts, you can click Alerts from your navigation bar or directly on the number of alerts under the Alerts Overview section.
From the Alerts tab, you can search for an individual or NPI or use a combination of filters to narrow down to certain alert types, business units, statuses, provider type, or timeframe.
By clicking the alert, you'll see an Alert Overview including the alert type and source, and current status.
Within the Alert Details, Primary Source Data displays on the left, including match criteria and a link to the primary source. On the right, Provider Details displays the data provided by your organization, allowing you to compare your individual's or organization's data to the primary source.
Status History displays when the alert was first verified in your ProviderTrust system and any changes to the verification history.
All new alerts will have the status of Needs Review.
Status updates allow your organization to document your investigation for each alert. By pressing the Update Status button, you can change the status and leave notes. Updating the progress status will also reflect in your dashboard count.
All notes and status updates are timestamped, including the username and cannot be deleted for audit purposes.
