Overview:
With the release of the Reporting UX Improvements feature, client users can:
- Leave the application after initiating the following reports from the Reports page: Monitored Entities, Custom Reports, Alerts Over Time, and Alert Resolution Overview
- Clients will still generate these reports from the Reports page
- After the client clicks the ‘Generate’ button on the Reports page, these reports will generate in the background and will continue to generate if the user logs out
- Note: The Individual Audit Report and Compliance Letter will continue to generate in-app after clicking the 'Generate' button on the Reports page
- View Completed, Failed, Pending, and Running reports from the last 30 days via a new Downloads page
- To get to the new Downloads page:
- On the lefthand pane, click ‘Reports’ and then click ‘Downloads’

- ‘Status’ Column Definitions:

Completed: The report has finished generating and is ready for download.
- There should be a ‘Download’ button that the system user can click to download the report

Failed: The report has failed due to an error.
- Error information is unavailable to client users, please reach out to support@providertrust.com if you receive this message
- There will be no ‘Download’ button available

Pending: The report is waiting in a queue to be picked up for generation. (Not yet running/generating)
- The report will show ‘Running’ status once it has been picked up in the queue

Running: The report is currently generating.
- After running, the report will change to a ‘Completed’ status with a ‘Download' button if it has successfully completed, and a ‘Failed’ status if the report failed to download

Completed: The report has finished generating and is ready for download.
- Report Generation Date Selection
- When requesting a report for a specific time period, PT App restricts the time period window to no greater than 6 months. If a report is required for a greater time period, it is recommended to split this into multiple report requests to capture the time period required.

Receive an in-app notification when a Monitored Entities, Custom Reports, Alerts Over Time, or Alert Resolution Overview report has been initiated.
- After the user has clicked the ‘Generate’ button for one of these reports, they will see the following notification: “You will receive an email notification when your report is ready, you can also check the Report Downloads page for status updates.”
- Receive an email notification when a Monitored Entities, Custom Reports, Alerts Over Time, or Alert Resolution Overview report is available for download or has failed
- If the report has successfully completed generating, an email will be sent to the user who generated the report
- The email will contain a link to the Downloads page where the user can download the completed report
- The email will come from noreply@providertrust.com email address
- If the report has failed, the user who ran the report will receive an email notifying them that the report has failed to generate
